I really enjoyed my stay, especially the comfy bed and the great food selection. The garden area was lovely for evening drinks, and I appreciated the cozy lounge to chill in. The shower was a bit on the smaller side, but overall, it was a fantastic experience! 😊

perfect base for exploring broughton with excellent walks nearby
During my stay, I loved that I could step out of my room and find beautiful walking paths right at my doorstep. The warm atmosphere made me feel right at home as a solo traveler amidst friendly staff and good hearty food. I really enjoyed the fresh breakfast that started my day on a high note. The only area for improvement would be the need for hypoallergenic bedding, as my allergies weren't fully accommodated during my one night stay.

We had a lovely stay with our big family at this charming pub. The kids loved the delicious fish and chips from the restaurant, while we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. Everyone was welcoming, and it was great to unwind by the fire after exploring the area.
In my wife’s opinion, more kid-friendly activities would be great.

Charming stay with great vibes
Had a lovely 1 night here! The atmosphere's super cozy, felt like stepping back in time. The owners and staff were super friendly, which made everything more enjoyable. I had to grab breakfast a bit early, and they were really accommodating. Just a bummer that service is a bit slow at dinner. Could use some speed!

The Old Kings Head exudes old-world charm, with its warm décor featuring elegant leather sofas and inviting real fires. The accessible layout made it easy for me to move around comfortably, creating a truly homely atmosphere during my stay.
Better signage for elderly guests would be helpful.
